I walked into a party when I was 19 years old with one of my bests friends. Across the room I spotted a very good looking young man. I leaned over to my friend and said, “I am going to marry that guy.” And I pointed to him across the room.. 5 years later, we were married. 2 years later we had our first son, and 4 years later our second. Many years later with trials and tribulations, we found ourselves celebrating our 20 year anniversary. Both a little shocked that we made it that far and still had so much love for each other. My husband had inherited a beautiful heirloom diamond from his great grandfather. As a surprise, he contacted Icon Jewels to have it set in a gorgeous setting that only they can do. We had just sold our home of 15 years and we’re closing on our new home. As our realtor gave us the keys, my husband turned around, kneeled down, pulled out the stunning ring, and asked me to marry him again, and spend at least another 20 years together.
